Designing an Online Store with a 3D Product Configurator
During the development of the modern MBOX24 e-commerce platform, we placed strong emphasis on the functional layout and the design of the user journey to ensure the best possible shopping experience. The UX approach was based on analysing user behaviour during the first iteration of the store. This allowed us to draw clear conclusions and introduce a series of optimisations aimed at maximising conversion – ultimately leading to more completed purchases.
Using insights gathered from UX research and user observation, we developed a conversion-optimised, custom e-commerce solution that significantly improved the effectiveness of the platform. As a result, the client experienced a noticeable increase in sales performance.
While designing the visual layer of the store, we also had to consider the specific characteristics of the German and Austrian markets, which tend to prefer clear, structured and conservative e-commerce interfaces. With this in mind, we created a clean and simple user interface that makes the store intuitive to use, even though it includes a large number of custom functionalities.
Adopting this design concept and responding flexibly to the client’s evolving needs – including the addition of new features and improvements – allowed us to deliver a solution fully aligned with business expectations and capable of supporting the client in achieving increasingly ambitious sales goals.
